Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations, with the potential to evolve into a broader supply chain role as our company grows.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process, from coordinating shipments and optimizing transportation routes to managing customer expectations and ensuring timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics and shipments, including carrier selection, carrier negotiations, and identifying alternative transportation modes.
Create, Monitor, and analyze key logistics and supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Oversee the entire logistics process, including inbound and outbound logistics, customer communication, dispatcher management, etc.
Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms, including pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, distributors, and logistics providers.
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve logistics issues, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Implement and leverage logistics and supply chain technology, such as ERP systems, to enhance operational efficiency and visibility.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3
years) in logistics management, preferably in the medical device or related industry.
Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, dispatching, tracking, customer communication, and logistics regulations.
Proficient in using logistics and supply chain management software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and mentor a team.
