Talisker Mountain is a world-class mountain community located in Park City, Utah. Talisker Club properties are spread out between Empire Pass, Main Street Park City, and the golf community of Tuhaye overlooking the Jordanelle Reservoir.
Talisker 's properties include private clubhouses with outdoor pools and spas, on-mountain dining facilities, two spa and fitness centers, commercial offices, maintenance buildings, and some residences.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Engineer Technician is responsible for all facilities within a given geographic location, acting as the contact for emergency situations that affect the Club's ability to safely operate and remain open for business. Additionally, the Engineer Technician will properly maintain the physical asset of the property under the guidance of the Talisker Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inspect facilities on a daily basis including lights, kitchen and spa appliances, plumbing, interior building structures, heating and ventilation, smoke and fire alarms, pool pumping systems and logging pertinent information on a standard checklist.
Respond to and report all emergencies in a prompt manner, including responding to emergencies during on-call shifts.
Inspect spas and pools on a daily basis, adjusting chemicals when needed.
Project coordinator for all size projects.
Possess basic electrical knowledge with the ability to safely conduct basic repairs.
Work on small plumbing repairs as needed, working with various PVC, steel and copper piping.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license. Current MVR requested upon hire.
Must possess all basic facility-related tools and a means to carry them.
High school diploma plus 2 years of relevant work experience and/or trades training, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
Must have basic knowledge and skills in the building/construction trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting/wallpapering, smoke/fire alarm systems, heating and ventilation systems, and pool and spa systems.
Must be able to effectively communicate with fellow employees, contractors, vendors and members of the club, as well as follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to use general office equipment and technologies
Must be able to work independently, without direct supervision, prioritizing and managing multi-functional tasks.
Ability to perform special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, squat, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time.
This job requires exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly.
Must be comfortable and able to work on a ladder of 20 feet.
Must be able to occasionally work in inclement weather.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
