Operations Manager

This position will assist the General Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating the Silver Strike Lodge operations of Resorts West. They will be responsible for helping to formulate company-wide polices, oversee department heads, and will be an integral part in ensuring the success of Resorts West as a whole.
Some Key Responsibilities of this position are as follows:
a. Communicate on a regular basis with the Board of Directors for each Home Owners Association.
b. Maintain a professional working relationship with the properties developer.
c. Develop and cultivate working relationships with individual homeowners in the HOA.
d. Interact with owners on general concerns of HOA services.
e. Assist in preparing, maintaining, and monitoring budgets.
f. Ensure proper billing and tracking of all income and expenses.
g. Monitor and review expenses and give feedback to each HOA's Board of Directors.
h. Work with the HOA accountant to ensure accuracy on reporting and future planning for the HOA.
i. Routinely inspect projects to insure proper compliance with HOA standards and pro-actively resolve any issues.
j. Help arrange and attend HOA board and owner meetings.
k. Maintain a tracking and documentation system for all maintenance work performed for the HOA.
l. Help select housekeeping and maintenance staff that will be assigned to do HOA work.
m. Help develop and implement HOA specific housekeeping and maintenance standards.
n. Hold periodic reviews with staff.

He/she will posses the personal skills necessary to represent Resorts West in a professional manner whenever interfacing with guests, owners and industry peers. Excellent typing, computer, and writing skills are required which will allow him or her to effectively operate and communicate within the corporate environment. Computer skills will include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Rental Network Software programs or similar. College degree and or equivalent managerial experience within the lodging industry is desired.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
