Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountability
Work 12 hour shifts. Midnight to Noon.
Utilize proper snowmaking logistics. Set-up and tear down all types of snow guns.
Assist with all aspects associated with Nordic and Freestyle Hills, Lift Operations, Gravity Zone Operational Support, Jump-related Sport user groups, Snowmaking & grooming, snow retention equipment and hill cleaning and repairs.
Assists with daily maintenance/grooming for Nordic and Freestyle hills to ensure they meet National and International technical standards and expectations of UOP and user groups.
Assist UOP and volunteer staff in the preparation and proper operation of ski jump facilities and equipment both in winter and summer jumping seasons, and during the transition between seasons.
Assist Gravity Zone operations.
Help with Lift operations.
Required Knowledge and Essential Skills
Ability to ski at Advanced level.
Willing to work extended hours during major events.
Knowledge of radio protocol.
Able to work in extreme cold winter and hot summer conditions.
Excellent written and oral communication.
A valid driver's license.
Ability to work with all user groups and employees in a friendly and accommodating manner.
Minimum Qualifications
A valid Drivers License
Minimum 18 years of age
Flexible work schedule
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Hearing - to converse with others in a normal conversation
Balancing, bending, climbing, kneeling, walking, pushing, reaching above shoulders, and sitting
Environmental Job Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in all temperature/weather extremes

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
