To continue with our success and take it to the next level, we are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Product Manager for our Feeds & Email team. The role will focus on the external and internal feeds and transactional and marketing email systems at Backcountry. The goal is to ensure stability and reliability by making them more robust and scalable. The incumbent will report to the Director, Supply Chain, and will have both the scope to work across silos in the company, and the access to engineering teams to implement change. This role is pivotal in transforming Backcountry's supply chain into a world-class direct to consumer operation through communication, process and technology.

About the Job
Enthusiastically embrace problems and opportunities, and drive the solution.
Work directly with business users to identify and analyze operational pain points, and opportunities for improvement through process and technology.
Work with Director of Supply Chain to identify opportunities for process and technological improvements for Feeds & Email.
Maximize the return on our engineering resources by shielding them from unnecessary interruptions, and properly vetting initiatives prior to development.
Maintain and prioritize backlogs for the feeds & Email technology team.
Develop and execute acceptance testing for initiatives.
Utilize lean techniques, including kaizen events and value stream mapping, to analyze existing processes and eliminate waste. The incumbent will be expected to build on their existing experience to become an expert in both Lean and Agile techniques.
Identify key metrics that demonstrate improvements made, and hold us accountable where they fail to materialize at first attempt. These would include, but not be limited to, improvements in feeds accuracy, email delivery rate, etc.
About You
Experience working with an established ESP (Email Service Provider.)
Experience with major integration or change programs a plus.
Ability to query data via SQL.
Strong Excel skills.
Experience with lean principles and thinking.
Experience in implementing Agile/Scrum methodologies in an organization and seeing the fruits of that in increased velocity.
Experience with operations/systems of a successful e-Commerce company.
Demonstrated ability to tackle any challenge.
Demonstrated logical and optimistic approach to problems.
Ability to think big, identify the core of an issue and outline innovative solutions.
Ability to drive collaboration and cooperation across a range of teams and personality types.
The capabilities to consistently make good decisions, and accept responsibility when you've made bad ones.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Exceptional organization, communication and presentation skills.
BA/BS; Computer Science or other technical discipline a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
