PURPOSE OF POSITION : To supervise banquet staff and operations.
### SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Must be detail-oriented, able to follow through, organized, motivated and receptive to change
Be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Must be able to stand on your feet and walk for a 5 - 12 hour shift
Applicant should be a team player and very customer service oriented
Should expect to work weekends and holidays
2 year minimum experience in bartending, fine dining food service and restaurant supervision
21 years of age
Will need Alcohol Service Certification and Food Handlers Permit
JOB DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Be present at scheduled functions at several Deer Valley Resort locations (indoors and outdoors)
Assist with supervision of staff with on-going training
Set a good example for staff with regard to punctuality, attendance, attitude and hygiene
Opening and closing functions including daily recaps
Ensure excellent guest service

Lead with honesty and integrity
Interact with staff members, peers and supervisors in a positive and professional manner
Interact positively with other Deer Valley Resort employees
Communicate any suggestions or concerns to manager in a timely manner

Support/follow Deer Valley Resort policies and procedures and DV Employee Handbook guidelines
Be a good example to those around you with a positive and supportive attitude.
