Deer Valley is an award-winning destination ski resort that typically has positions available in lodging, ski school, casual and fine dining food and beverage operations, ski rental shops, mountain operations such as groomer, snowmaker, ski patrol and everything in between!
PURPOSE OF POSITION : Greet and seat guests in the restaurant.
JOB DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Perform all opening and closing duties including but not limited to; pull all menus from closer, check each for stains and cleanliness, clean as needed, dim dining room lights, general pick up of front area (no cups, food or debris)
Welcome and seat guests as they arrive for their reservation
Help Assistant Manager with beverage service for guests waiting in lobby
Know all table numbers and position numbers as well as directions to verbalize to guests
Help to keep sleigh rides consistent with reservation time
Can identify all food items
Perform all job functions assigned by Manager
Fireside Dining Restaurant is open beginning December 12, 2014 through April 4, 2015. The days of operation are Wednesday through Saturday evenings. There are additional days that the restaurant operates during holiday periods.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
