Line cook is a members of the Food & Beverage Team. S/he is responsible for: preparation of food to order for the hotel restaurant; ensures consistent quality; and follows IHR's Standard Operating Procedures and Food Safety procedures. This individual is required to be detailed oriented, works well in a team environment and enjoys serving customers in a positive, friendly and courteous manner.
PT 2 - 3 nights a week 2pm - 11pm
Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per dupe from servers. Prep food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare over estimated needs. Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, possible shortages. Assist in keeping buffet stocked. Cleaning of the kitchen; floors, dish area, storage rooms and back prep areas. Ability to meet sanitation standards and requirements with handling of equipment and supplies. Seeking and individual for long term work Candidate must be reliable, able to work required hours, responsible and have not outside interference with he job duties. Sense of urgency and speed is required Physical endurance and strength is a must as the position requires hours of physical labor and lifting of up to 30lbs. Candidate must be prompt and on time for the shift. Great attitude, flexibility and willingness to get the job done is required. 1-3 years experience of cooking on the line is required.
