Job Description:
Excellent for those who like long distant hauls, TLP Trucking LLC is currently accepting applications to fill a full time truck driver position.
Job Requirements:
Monitor loading and unloading of goods.
Pickup and deliver goods as required.
Check fuel and oil levels in trucks before loading goods.
Inspect trucks to ensure working conditions of brakes, lights, wipers, windshield, fire extinguisher, flares, and other safety equipment's in the truck.
Adjust mirrors on both sides of the truck to ensure clear visibility from the driver's seat.
Maintain record of goods and freight loaded and unloaded.
Report any equipment in the truck inoperable or missing.
Long distance traveling is required
Driver must be available to travel with in the United States.
Knowledge and Skills:
1) Competent driving skills.
2) Should be able to read and speak English.
3) Knowledge of vehicle and all its parts.
4) Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor repairs.
5) Skill to maneuver large vehicles on highways and traffic routes.
6) Knowledge and understanding of GPS.
Educational Qualification and
Experience:
High school educated
Commercial vehicle drivers should be 21 years of age.
Driver's license.
Commercial Driver's License for heavy vehicle drivers
Wages include but are not limited to:
o $ 0.50 Per Mile
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
