Tire & Lube Technician

Job Description
Burt Brothers is looking for hard working, motivated, energetic and enthusiastic Lube & Tire Technicians who want to be part of a winning team! We offer excellent pay with a full benefits package including medical, dental, 401k and select voluntary insurance benefits.
Responsibilities
Lube Technician s responsibilities include:
1. Maintain dealership quality standards service vehicles.
2. Provide service information and recommendations to customers.
3. Change oil transmission fluids and filters.
4. Perform routine maintenance of all vehicles (check additional fluid levels, tire pressure, filters, etc.)
Tire Technician responsibilities include:
1. Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size and ply.
2. Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with Burt Brothers standards.
3. Maintain all shop equipment.
4. Place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels.
5. Unbolt wheels from vehicles and remove them, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools.
6. Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding, or sandblasting.
7. Reassemble tires onto wheels.
Qualifications
Three or more months of tire or lube experience.
Safety and emissions license is desired but not required.
Applicants must be dependable, honest and clean cut with a friendly and positive attitude.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
