Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer

Position Purpose Provide day-to-day manufacturing operations support as part of Lean management team.
Problem solve process roadblocks to meeting daily business objectives.
Develop solutions for incremental continuous improvement priorities.
Maintain process work instructions ensuring that any process changes are accurately reflected.
Reporting to this position:
Regional ADC's Maintenance Techs, Regional ADC's Engineering TechPrimary ResponsibilitiesTeam member within cross-functional Lean daily management teams focused on ensuring flow is maintained through production lines.
Responsible for ensuring work instructions and standard work are documented for each process stepLeads process continuous improvement projects driven by business goals for safety, quality, delivery and cost in collaboration with manufacturing team ensuring projects are complete on time and within budget.
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirementsParticipate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaborating and cohesion.
Key Performance IndicatorsSafety performance - OSHA Recordable and Lost Time RateQuality - First Pass YieldDelivery - ThroughputCost - Productivity with focus on process capability and equipment performanceProject plans developed and executed within scope, on time and within budgetPosition Requirements 3-5 years of experience in various engineering fields relating to mechanical design, manufacturing and process development3-5 years project management in a manufacturing environmentBS degree (Mechanical or manufacturing engineering field strongly preferred)Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProficient in Vision, Microsoft Office and MS ProjectAutoCad or ProE experienceTechnical report writing skillsTravel as required < 10%Working Conditions (if applicable) Working in a manufacturing plant environment, with exposure to material handling equipment, dust and moderate noise, and use of personal protective equipment depending on specific project work.
Plant operation involves 2 shifts, including some weekends.
Work hours may vary depending on project work.
Must be able to spend a significant amount of time on a production floor.
Job may require reaching, bending, stooping, working at elevation, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Some travel (including air travel) will be required, to suppliers and other corporate facilities.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
